Blackout Fabric Curtains for Classrooms – Chanh Phu Hoa Secondary School

Blue blackout fabric curtains installed in a classroom at Chanh Phu Hoa Secondary School

VTP DECOR has just completed the installation of blackout fabric curtains for many classrooms at Chanh Phu Hoa Secondary School. This is a school project – where curtains serve not only an aesthetic purpose but must meet far stricter practical requirements than in a home: blocking direct sun on the board and desks, withstanding students opening and closing them every day, being easy to clean, and being affordable when fitted to many classrooms at once.

Why blackout fabric curtains for classrooms?

In classrooms with large windows facing the schoolyard or the street, morning and early-afternoon sun often shines straight onto the desks, causing glare and affecting students' concentration. Thick blackout fabric curtains block most direct sunlight while keeping enough diffused light for teaching – unlike thin curtains that only block part of the sun, or blinds that are easily damaged by frequent knocks from students.

Matching installation across many classrooms

Our team installed blue fabric curtains – a colour that matches the identity of many Vietnamese schools – across the row of classrooms on campus, using sturdy eyelet hanging that is easy to pull by hand and reduces wear on accessories under heavy daily use. The fabric chosen is easy to clean and resists dust – ideal for busy classrooms.

"Curtains for schools need to be simple, durable and easy to maintain rather than elaborate – because these spaces are used intensively every day."

This is also an example of how VTP DECOR serves not only families and offices but also schools and educational institutions, finding curtain solutions that are practical and cost-effective for large-scale installations.
